Assam Company repurchases FCCBs worth $2.20 million

Assam Company Ltd has announced that the Company has bought back, through open market operation, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), of USD 2.20 million at a discount.

The Company's outstanding FCCBs due 2011 as on date stands at USD 31.8 million.

The Stock was trading at Rs.19.25. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.19.55 and low of Rs.19.15.

The total traded quantity was 188346 compared to 2 week average of 514292.
