Aban Offshore arm redeems bonds worth Rs 800 crore

Aban Offshore Ltd has announced that Sinvest AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has redeemed the bonds having a principal amount aggregating to Norwegian Kroner(NOK) 1 billion (equivalent to Rs. 800 Crore) alongwith accrued interest, on the due date (i.e.) December 22, 2009.

The stock was trading at Rs.1211, up by Rs.50.55 or 4.36%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1216.70 and low of Rs.1165.

The total traded quantity was 415797 compared to 2 week average of 332344.
