HDFC allots 44879 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) has announced that the Corporation on December 21, 2009 has allotted 44,879 equity shares of Rs. 10 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 285,85,52,670.00 consisting 28,58,55,267 equity shares of Rs. 10 each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2564.75, down by Rs.10.70 or 0.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2599 and low of Rs.2557.

The total traded quantity was 141271 compared to 2 week average of 84003.
