Bharti Airtel allots 109650 Equity Shares

Bharti Airtel Ltd has announced that Committee of Directors of Board of directors of the Company in its meeting held on December 18, 2009, has allotted 109,650 equity shares to the employees upon exercise of stock options pursuant to ESOP Scheme 2005.

87,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 110.50, 750 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 156.50, 13,750 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 178.50, 7,450 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 195.00 and 700 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 206.00.

With the allotment of the above shares the equity base of the Company stand increased from present level of 3,796,842,330 (Nos.) to 3,796,951,980 (Nos.) equity shares of Rs. 5/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.310.70, down by Rs.6.40 or 2.02%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.320 and low of Rs.310.40.

The total traded quantity was 1029112 compared to 2 week average of 2067215.
