Hindustan Unilever allots 208035 equity shares

Hindustan Unilever Ltd has announced that the Committee of the Board, at its meeting held on December 18, 2009, has allotted 2,08,035 Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each under ESOP, post amendment vide Shareholders' Resolution dated May 29, 2006 known as the 'HLL 2006 Performance Share Scheme'. The shares allotted under this Scheme shall be within the limits of 1.5 Crore shares as approved by shareholders in the 71st Annual General Meeting held on June 29, 2004.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up capital of the Company has increased to 218,14,41,805 shares & the issued capital has increased to 221,16,77,577 shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.263.35, down by Rs.5 or 1.86%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.268.85 and low of Rs.262.70.

The total traded quantity was 262424 compared to 2 week average of 230283.
