Ambuja Cements allots 45100 shares under ESOS category

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on December 16, 2009 has allotted 45100 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.

Under Stock Option Scheme: 2003-2004, 6750 shares were allotted.

Under Stock Option Scheme: 2004-2005, 25500 shares were allotted.

Under Stock Option Scheme: 2005-2006, 9250 shares were allotted.

Under Stock Option Scheme: 2008, 3600 Shares were allotted.

The stock closed the day at Rs.98.15, up by Rs.0.95 or 0.98%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.98.70 and low of Rs.96.50.

The total traded quantity was 418842 compared to 2 week average of 339449.
