Surya Roshni allots Optionally Convertible Warrants on Preferential Basis

Surya Roshni Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors has approved the allotment of 64,00,000 Optionally Convertible Warrants on preferential basis @ Rs. 59/- per warrant by receiving upfront payment @ Rs. 14.75/- per warrant in the Meeting of Committee of Directors held on December 14, 2009.

The allottees include, Shri Jai Prakash Agarwal - 8,00,000, Shirin Commodeal P Ltd - 20,00,000, Lumax Mercantile P Ltd - 19,00,000 and Sahaj Tie-up (P) Ltd - 17,00,000 warrants.

The stock was trading at Rs.57.10, down by Rs.0.85 or 1.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.59.15 and low of Rs.57.10.

The total traded quantity was 5646 compared to 2 week average of 20868.
