Genus Power to consider issue of warrants on Dec 04, 2009

Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on December 04, 2009, inter alia, to consider / decide the issue of convertible warrants on a preferential basis to promoter(s) and to any other prospective investor(s) as the Board may deem fit, pursuant to and in accordance with applicable guidelines and subject to the consent of the members of the Company and of other requisite authorities.

The Board will also consider / decide the convening of an Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the members of the Company to seek the approval of the members of the Company for the above preferential allotments.

The stock closed the day at Rs.178.45, up by Rs.28.65 or 19.13%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.179.75 and low of Rs.149.35.
