Suzlon Energy allots 8000 shares pursuant to exercise of options granted under ESOP-2005

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that the ESOP Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 07, 2009 has allotted 8,000 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each to the option grantees, pursuant to exercise of the options granted to the eligible employees of the Company and its Subsidiary Companies under the Employee Stock Options Plan-2005.

The stock closed the day at Rs.66.25, up by Rs.3.75 or 6%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.68.15 and low of Rs.63.

The total traded quantity was 23668516 compared to 2 week average of 17172893.
