Ambuja Cements allots 75675 shares under ESOS

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on November 05, 2009 has allotted 75,675 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.

4,125 shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2003-2004, 15,750 shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2004-2005, 11,000 shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2005-2006, 1,300 shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2007 (Grant - II) and 43,500 shares were allotted under Stock Option Scheme 2008.

The stock closed the day at Rs.85.75, down by Rs.2.95 or 3.33%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.88.85 and low of Rs.83.75.

The total traded quantity was 664612 compared to 2 week average of 1144382.
