ITC allots 121290 Shares

ITC Ltd has announced that the Company on October 27, 2009 has issued and allotted 1,21,290 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 12,129 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from October 27, 2009, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 378,36,73,600/- divided into 378,36,73,600 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.244.90, down by Rs.10.25 or 4.02%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.259.50 and low of Rs.244.

The total traded quantity was 270043 compared to 2 week average of 605170.
