IOC allots 1213976241 Equity Shares

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) has announced that the Committee of Directors have allotted 121,39,76,241 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each as bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 to the eligible shareholders as on the Record Date of October 30, 2009. Consequently, the Paid-up Share Capital of the Company stands enhanced from Rs. 1213.97 crore to Rs. 2427.95 crore.

The stock was trading at Rs.309.50, down by Rs.4.60 or 1.46%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.314.50 and low of Rs.301.

The total traded quantity was 76987 compared to 2 week average of 180556.
