Venus Ventures to raise upto Rs 200 crore

Venus Ventures Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 26, 2009, inter alia, have unanimously passed the proposal to raise funds.

The Board approved proposal to Issue and Allot Equity Shares on Preferential Basis upto Rs. 50.00 Crores subject to the consent of the members.

The Board also aproved proposal for Follow on Public Issue / QIB Placement upto Rs. 150.00 Crores subject to the consent of the members.

The stock was trading at Rs.38.20, down by Rs.2 or 4.98%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.38.20 and low of Rs.38.20.

The total traded quantity was 100 compared to 2 week average of 2343.
