L&T allots 1356878 Shares

Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has announced that the Company has allotted 13,56,878 (Thirteen Lakh Fifty Six Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy Eight only) shares on October 22, 2009 to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Ownership / Option Schemes.

The said shares will rank pari-passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The stock was trading at Rs.1635.85, down by Rs.37.20 or 2.22%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1676 and low of Rs.1615.

The total traded quantity was 222127 compared to 2 week average of 345156.
