Lupin allots 1030974 equity shares

Lupin Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of Directors at its meeting held on October 21, 2009 has allotted 10,30,974 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.

1027924 Shares were issued upon conversion of Zero Coupon Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB) issued by the Company pursuant to the Offering Memorandum dated January 02, 2006.

3050 Shares were issued upon exercising the options granted to employees under the stock option plans of the Company.

In view of the above, the Issued and paid up capital of the Company has been increased to Rs. 879,385,220 consisting 87,938,522 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.1270, down by Rs.12.90 or 1.01%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1279.70 and low of Rs.1261.25.

The total traded quantity was 2516 compared to 2 week average of 47333.
