Patni Computer Systems allots 71475 Equity Shares

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated October 09, 2009 allotted 71,475 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 50,000 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 25,000 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.418, up by Rs.21.65 or 5.46%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.421 and low of Rs.395.

The total traded quantity was 202150 compared to 2 week average of 200077.
