HDFC allots 68288 Equity Shares

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) has announced that the Corporation on September 24, 2009, allotted 68,288 equity shares of Rs. 10 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 284,87,93,630 consisting 28,48,79,363 equity shares of Rs. 10 each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2743.15, up by Rs.90.05 or 3.39%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2756.20 and low of Rs.2615.10.

The total traded quantity was 164444 compared to 2 week average of 110870.
