Havells India to issue securities for US$150 million

Havells India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 26, 2006 has discussed and approved the following businesses:

1. Issue of QIPs/ FCCB/ ADRs/ GDRs etc for an amount not exceeding US$ 150 million.

2. Increase in the Borrowing limits of the Company to Rs 2500 Crores.

3. Increase of Authorised Share Capital of the Company to Rs 40 Crores.

4. To call for Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the Company on January 20, 2007.
