Patni Computer Systems allots 71350 Equity Shares

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated September 04, 2009 allotted 71,350 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 51,250 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 25,625 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.414.60, down by Rs.7.25 or 1.72%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.427.85 and low of Rs.412.05.
