Sesa Goa allots 33274000 equity shares

Sesa Goa Ltd has announced that in terms of Special Resolution passed by shareholders at Extraordinary General Meeting held July 09, 2009, the Committee of Board of Directors, at its Meeting held on July 22, 2009, allotted 3,32,74,000 equity shares of Re 1/- each at a premium of Rs 160.46 per equity share to Promoters entity "Twin Star Holdings Ltd". Consequently on allotment the paid up equity share capital of the Company stands increased from Rs 78,72,40,400 to Rs 82,05,14,400.

The stock closed the day at Rs.227.05, down by Rs.5.70 or 2.45%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.235.50 and low of Rs.224.60.

The total traded quantity was 2980650 compared to 2 week average of 3289882.
