Ambuja Cements allots 20125 Shares under ESOS

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on July 14, 2009 has allotted 20,125 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees

Under Stock Option Scheme 2003-2004 : 2,625 shares were allotted, Under Stock Option Scheme 2004-2005 : 10,500 shares were allotted and under Stock Option Scheme 2005-2006 7,000 shares were allotted.

The stock closed the day at Rs.97.65, down by Rs.1.65 or 1.66%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.102 and low of Rs.97.10.

The total traded quantity was 670204 compared to 2 week average of 571751.
