Punj Lloyd to raise upto Rs 1500 crore

Punj Lloyd Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 24, 2009, inter alia, has approved raising of funds through issue of appropriate securities for an amount not exceeding Rs 1500 Crore, subject to the approval of shareholders in general meeting.

The stock closed the day at Rs.209.10, up by Rs.12.15 or 6.17%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.210 and low of Rs.198.80.

The total traded quantity was 2509790 compared to 2 week average of 1791066.
