Avon Corporation allots GDRs

Avon Corporation Ltd has announced that the GDR issue of the Company for US $ 10 Millions has been fully subscribed and closed on June 18, 2009 and the Board of Directors at its Meeting held on June 19, 2009 has allotted 1,600,000 Global Depository Receipts underlying equity shares 48,000,000 at Rs 10/- per share at par.

The stock closed the day at Rs.8.82, down by Rs.0.05 or 0.56%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.9.15 and low of Rs.8.76.

The total traded quantity was 35669 compared to 2 week average of 115876.
