Spanco allots 7415000 shares

Spanco Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 06, 2009, in pursuance to the authority given by the shareholders in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EOGM) held on May 23, 2009, have issued and allotted 74,15,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- (Rupees Ten) per equity share, for cash, at a premium of Rs 30/- per equity share on preferential basis in terms of SEBI (DIP) Guidelines to the allottees.

The stock closed the day at Rs.56.30, down by Rs.1.45 or 2.51%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.60.10 and low of Rs.56.

The total traded quantity was 80157 compared to 2 week average of 214257.
