Bharti Airtel Updates on Allotment of equity shares upon conversion of FCCBs

Bharti Airtel Ltd has announced that pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Offering Circular dated May 12, 2004 the Committee of Directors of the Board of the Company, in its meeting held on November 30, 2006, has issued 11,208 Fully Paid up Equity Shares of the Company upon conversion of USD 60000 FCCBs to the following persons.

1. Credit Suisse First Boston - 9,340 No. of Equity Shares

2. KBC Financial Products UK Ltd - 1,868 No. of Equity Shares

With the allotment of the above shares the equity base of the Company has increased from present level of 1895732389 to 1895743597 Equity shares of Rs 10/- each.
