Educomp Solutions allots 8742 shares

Educomp Solutions Ltd has announced that Remuneration committee of the Company on June 01, 2009 has allotted 8,742 Equity Shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOP Scheme 2006 including 5,662 Equity Shares allotted to Mr. Shonu Chandra, Independent Director of the Company.

The Paid up capital of the Company post allotment is Rs 17,30,95,770 consisting of 1,73,09,577 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10/- each.

The company has Cancelled and Forfeited 70,705 Stock Options. 37,400 options have been cancelled under ESOP Scheme 2006 & 33,305 options have been cancelled under ESOP Scheme 2007. Further these 70,705 forfeited and cancelled stock options are eligible for re-issue to other employees of the Company and its subsidiaries.

The company has granted 14,500 Stock Options to its eligible employees/ Director under ESOP Scheme 2008 including 5,000 Stock options granted to Mr. Sankalp Srivastava, Independent Director of the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.3039, up by Rs.10.75 or 0.35%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.3088 and low of Rs.2956.

The total traded quantity was 182725 compared to 2 week average of 233248.
