Dish TV to raise US$200 million

Dish TV India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 28, 2009, inter alia, have approved raising of long term funds by way of issuance of FCCB for an amount not exceeding USD 200 million subject to applicable laws and necessary statutory and regulatory approvals / filings.

The stock was trading at Rs.49.40, up by Rs.1.75 or 3.67%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.50.10 and low of Rs.46.20.

The total traded quantity was 6943103 compared to 2 week average of 4145217.
