AXIS Bank allots 395192 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors of the Bank on May 14, 2009 has made the allotment of 3,95,192 equity shares of Rs 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 35,94,41,607 equity shares from 35,90,46,415 equity shares.

The stock was trading at Rs.628.70, down by Rs.41.55 or 6.20%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.658.70 and low of Rs.624.

The total traded quantity was 1140241 compared to 2 week average of 1187882.
