Walchandnagar Industries EGM approves issue of warrants

Walchandnagar Industries Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on November 23, 2006, have approved by way of special resolution the following:

1. Availing the professional services of Mr. A U Rijhsinghani, Director, as an Advisor / Consultant to the Company.

2. Preferential issue of 8,00,000 Convertible Warrants to the promoters Group at a price determined as per SEBI (Disclosure & Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000.
