Dewan Housing to consider redemption of Redeemable Non-Convertible Preference Shares

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd has announced that the Company has redeemed 1%, 40,00,000 Redeemable Non-Convertible Preference Shares of Rs 10/- each issued at a premium of Rs 90/- each aggregating to Rs 40 crore which was allotted to ICICI Bank Ltd on March 28, 2008. The said Preference Shares were redeemed on its maturity date i.e. March 27, 2009.

The stock was trading at Rs.54.60, down by Rs.1.85 or 3.28%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.56.90 and low of Rs.54.50.

The total traded quantity was 1167 compared to 2 week average of 24269.
