Moser Baer cancels 30 repurchased FCCBs

Moser Baer India Ltd has now announced with reference to the earlier announcement dated March 16, 2009, in relation to repurchase of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds ("FCCBs"). The company has cancelled the FCCBs following the repurchase.

Under Tranche A, the company repurchased 10 bonds on March 16, 2009 at a repurchase price of (USD) 25,000 and the total amount paid is (USD) 250,000.

Under Tranche B, the company repurchased 20 bonds on March 16, 2009 at a repurchase price of (USD) 25,000 and the total amount paid (USD) is 550,000.

The stock was trading at Rs.48.15, up by Rs.2.75 or 6.06%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.49.25 and low of Rs.45.30.

The total traded quantity was 853950 compared to 2 week average of 443180.
