Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd has announced with reference to the earlier announcement dated March 06, 2009 regarding the approval of the shareholders of the Company for issue of fully convertible cumulative preference shares (FCCPS) to some of the existing promoters of the Company op a preferential basis, that the Company on March 13, 2009 has allotted the FCCPS.

M/s. Tube Investments of India Ltd were allotted 15000000 FCCPS for an amount of (Rs) 150,00,00,000/-

M/s. DBS Bank, Singapore was allotted 15000000 FCCPS for an amount of (Rs) 150,00,00,000/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.25, up by Rs.0.20 or 0.81%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.26 and low of Rs.24.20.

The total traded quantity was 5206 compared to 2 week average of 8523.
