Punjab National Bank raises Rs 1000 Crores

Punjab National Bank has announced with reference to the earlier announcement dated February 14, 2009 regarding PNB Upper Tier Bonds Issue Series VII, that the Bank has received a total of Rs 1000 crore in the said issue comprising total of 10 investors. It has been decided to accept the full subscription of Rs 1000 crore from the above investors and give full allotment.

The stock was trading at Rs.341, down by Rs.4.80 or 1.39%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.354 and low of Rs.338.

The total traded quantity was 168805 compared to 2 week average of 269453.
