Punjab National Bank to raise Rs 500 Crore

Punjab National Bank has announced that the Bank will be raising Rs 500 crore as PNB Upper Tier II Bond Issue Series VII through private placement with an option to retain oversubscription.

The proposed date of opening is February 18, 2009 and proposed date of closing is February 18, 2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.409, up by Rs.6.50 or 1.61%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.412.90 and low of Rs.405.15.

The total traded quantity was 163897 compared to 2 week average of 182765.
