Himalya International to allot 5 million warrants at Rs 18.30

Himalya International Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 09, 2009, inter alia, has approved the Preferential Allotment of 50,00,000 (Five Millions) of Warrants at a price Rs 18.30 which is at the rate of 20% premium of the closing price of February 09, 009) i.e. Rs 14.61 which also comply with the SEBI Guidelines of Preferential Allotment.

The Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the Company will be held on March 05, 2009.

The Board authorized Mr. Man Mohan Malik, Chairman & Managing Director to finalise the terms of Joint Venture for manufacturing and marketing of Buffalo Milk Cheese in North America.

The stock closed the day at Rs.14.31, down by Rs.0.30 or 2.05%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.15.50 and low of Rs.14.14.

The total traded quantity was 13156 compared to 2 week average of 12612.
