Ashok Leyland allots 23,55,792 equity shares on conversion of notes

Ashok Leyland Ltd has announced that the Board Committee at its meeting held on November 11, 2006, has allotted 23,55,792 shares of Re 1/- each on conversion of the above 1656 Notes.

Further the Company has informed that, taking into account the above allotment, the total issued and paid-up capital of the Company as on November 11, 2006 is Rs 132,29,45,640 consisting of 132,29,45,640 equity shares of Re 1 each.
