Platinum Corporation allots 24000000 shares

Platinum Corporation Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 13, 2009, and subject to approval of shareholders of the Company, has allotted the 2,40,00,000 Equity shares of Rs 1 each at a premium of Re 0.25 per share to Non-promoters and 50,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs 1 each at a premium of Re 0.25 per share to promoters on Preferential basis. (determined as per Guidelines for Preferential Issues under SEBI (Disclosure & Investors Protection Guidelines, 2000).

The stock closed the day at Rs.0.60, down by Rs.0.03 or 4.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.0.60 and low of Rs.0.60.
