Freshtrop Fruits approves preferential issue of 10 Lakh warrants

Freshtrop Fruits Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 11, 2009, inter alia, have approved the Preferential issue of 10,00,000 warrants convertible into Equity Shares within 18 months to M/s Capital Packaging Pvt Ltd, Promoter of the Company.

To Obtain the Approval of Shareholders for allotment of Warrants on preferential basis to promoter Board of Directors have approved the Calling of Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company on February 07, 2009.

The stock was trading at Rs.17.70, down by Rs.0.90 or 4.84%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.17.75 and low of Rs.17.70.

The total traded quantity was 2250 compared to 2 week average of 2493.
