Lactose India to issue 985000 warrants on preferential basis

Lactose India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 18, 2008 has decided to come out with the Preferential Issue of the 9,85,000 Convertible Warrants to promoters subject to the approval of the shareholders in general meeting.

The Extra Ordinary General Meeting is fixed on December 18, 2008.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.9.31, up by Rs.0.44 or 4.96%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.9.31 and low of Rs.9.31.

The total traded quantity was 600 compared to 2 week average of 367.
