Phillips Carbon allots 3000000 equity shares

Phillips Carbon Black Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 15, 2008, has allotted 30,00,000 equity shares arising out of conversion of preferential issue of convertible warrants to the Promoter Group Companies and Private Equit Investor.

The Promoter Group Companies are Adorn Investments Ltd - 10,00,000 shares, Universal Industries Fund Ltd - 8,00,000 shares and Off-Shore India Ltd - 7,00,000 shares.

The Private equity investor who was allotted shares was Lend Lease Company (India) Ltd - 5,00,000 shares.
