Lemon Tree Hotels adds Madurai to its growing South India Portfolio

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, one of India's leading hospitality companies, today announced the signing of Lemon Tree Premier, Madurai. This signing further strengthens the group's footprint in Tamil Nadu, expanding its presence across key commercial and leisure markets.

The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.

With this addition, the group's portfolio in Tamil Nadu expands to eight properties, comprising five operational hotels and three upcoming developments.

Located in Madurai, one of Tamil Nadu's prominent cultural and commercial centres, the hotel will feature 100 well-appointed rooms, along with a restaurant, banquet facilities, meeting room, fitness centre and swimming pool. Designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers, the property will offer a contemporary and comfortable stay experience, complemented by facilities suited to meetings, events and leisure stays.

The hotel will benefit from its convenient connectivity to key transportation hubs. Madurai Airport is approximately 14 km from the property and can be reached in around 30 minutes, while Madurai Railway Station is approximately 3 km away, with an estimated travel time of nine minutes. The railway station is well connected to major cities across India, providing convenient access for travellers.

Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 107.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 111.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 763931 in over 6815 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 110.95 and intraday low of 106.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 82368327.00.
