Textile major K.P.R. Mill Limited (BSE: 532889 | NSE: KPRMILL) has unveiled a comprehensive expansion and modernization plan totaling ₹1,225 crore across its manufacturing operations.
The company's Board of Directors approved the strategic capex plan at its meeting held on August 10, 2026. The expansion encompasses major Greenfield manufacturing facilities as well as brownfield modernization projects across spinning, processing, and garmenting segments.

Expected Incremental Turnover: Approximately ₹2,000 Crore upon completion
Funding Mechanism: Entire capital expenditure will be funded through internal accruals
Segment-Wise Project Break-Up
1. Greenfield Projects
New Ready-Made Garment Facility (Odisha): Setting up a new unit with a capacity of 45 million garments per annum at an estimated cost of ₹450 crore. Expected completion: Q1 FY 2027-28.
New Processing Factory (Perundurai, Coimbatore): Constructing a state-of-the-art processing unit with 10,000 MT per annum capacity at an investment of ₹250 crore. Expected completion: Q2 FY 2027-28.
New Sweater Manufacturing Unit (Karumathampatti, Coimbatore): Building a dedicated sweater plant with a capacity of 2.5 million garments per annum for ₹75 crore. Expected completion: Q4 FY 2026-27.
2. Modernization Cum Expansion Projects
Knitted Fabric Facility (Arasur, Coimbatore): Upgrading and expanding capacity to 15,000 MT per annum with an investment of ₹90 crore. Expected completion: Q3 FY 2026-27.
Knitted Fabric Facility (Neelambur, Coimbatore): Expanding capacity to 20,000 MT per annum with a capex of ₹100 crore. Expected completion: Q4 FY 2026-27.
Spinning Mill Unit 3 (Karumathampatti, Coimbatore): Modernization and expansion project budgeted at ₹85 crore. Expected completion: Q3 FY 2026-27.
Spinning Mill Unit 1 (Karumathampatti, Coimbatore): Large-scale modernization and expansion budgeted at ₹175 crore. Expected completion: Q4 FY 2026-27.
