Cash Logistics: Delivered revenue of ₹403 crore (down 3% YoY, up 1% QoQ) with a segment EBIT of ₹81 crore (down 18% YoY, up 3% QoQ).
Managed Services & Technology Solutions (including Card Services): Reported strong top-line growth with revenue of ₹305 crore, rising 18% YoY and 4% QoQ. Segment EBIT stood at ₹32 crore (down 13% YoY and 24% QoQ), impacted by lower BLA transaction revenue flow-through and elevated depreciation charges.
Business Execution & Key Order Wins
CMS secured new order wins totaling approximately ₹500 crore during Q1 FY27. Key commercial highlights include:
An integrated managed services mandate awarded by HDFC Bank.
Product mandates for approximately 1,000 currency recyclers with public sector banks.
Two major PSU bank contracts within the Technology & Payment Solutions business for its proprietary HAWKAI Enterprise and ALGO MVS solutions.
Mr. Rajiv Kaul - Exec. VC & CEO commented, "Q1 tested our industry with the sharpest currency-supply disruption in a decade, impacting ATM transaction volumes. Against that, and in a seasonally weak quarter, our teams delivered our highest-ever services revenue, up 9%, with EBITDA growing 8.9% YoY and margins expanding 170 basis points sequentially; while absorbing significant cost inflation from steep minimum-wage increases in large states and higher fuel costs. This performance is the result of two years of investment in higher technology spends, pricing discipline, growth in business from privatesector banks, and a more flexible workforce model."
