DEE Development Engineers Reports Strong Order Book Position of ₹2,428.79 Crore as of July 2026

DEE Development Engineers Limited (BSE: 544198 | NSE: DEEDEV) has released its monthly execution and order book update for July 2026, highlighting sustained business momentum across its piping, heavy fabrication, and clean energy segments.

Order Book and Execution Summary for July 2026

The company recorded total fresh order inflows of ₹81.06 crore during July 2026 (including amendments and currency fluctuations), while executing orders worth ₹80.46 crore during the month.

As a result, the total closing order book position stood at ₹2,428.79 crore as of July 31, 2026, up slightly from ₹2,428.20 crore at the start of the month. Cumulative order inflows for FY 2026-27 (as of July 31, 2026) reached ₹861.28 crore, while cumulative executed orders for the financial year totaled ₹374.18 crore.

Piping (DEE Thailand):

In addition, DEE Development Engineers confirmed that it has been declared Lowest Bidder (L1) for orders worth approximately ₹42 crore from reputed clients, with formal purchase orders expected to be awarded shortly (not included in the reported ₹2,428.79 crore order book).

Malwa Power Private Limited: Following an interim order by the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) fixing a tariff of ₹3.50 per unit post-PPA expiration, the company filed a review petition. PSERC's final order on March 27, 2026, revised the FY 2025-26 tariff to ₹5.224/kWh (₹0.97 fixed + ₹4.254 variable with a 5% annual escalation), setting the FY 2026-27 tariff at ₹5.437 per kWh. The company has challenged this order before APTEL, seeking higher tariffs per CERC norms. Projected FY27 revenue for Malwa Power is estimated at ~₹47.71 crore (including ₹23.4 crore from the pellet plant).

DEE Development Engineers (Power Division): Although PSERC revised tariffs to ₹5.877 per unit on August 20, 2025, the Punjab & Haryana High Court stayed the operation of the order on October 23, 2025. Consequently, the company continues to supply power to PSPCL at the prevailing tariff of ₹7.47 per unit, with any recovery claimed by PSPCL staying withheld pending final court disposal.

The company clarified that the executed order values represent invoiced amounts. Under Ind AS 115, revenue recognition aligns with the transfer of control of goods/services rather than invoicing milestones, meaning recognized accounting revenue for the period may differ from the total invoiced value.

Shares of Dee Development Engineers Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 626.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 630.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 11580 in over 362 trades.
