Khoobsurat Ltd - Updates on Brewery Project at Goa

Khoobsurat Ltd has shared significant progress on company's Brewery Project at SA22 & SA-23 Cuncolim Industrial Estate, Goa. Several key milestones have been successfully achieved, showcasing our commitment to this venture.

On February 9, 2024, the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) issued the registration order for Factory Plot SA-22 & SA-23 Cuncolim Industrial Estate, Goa, in favor of Salcete Brewing Ltd. Following this, on February 21, 2024, we executed the Tripartite Lease Deed, with GIDC's consent for the exclusive use of the plot for beer manufacturing, as detailed on Page 6 of the Executed Lease Deed.

The project received further momentum on April 5, 2024, when the Goa State Pollution Control Board granted consent to establish the brewery. Additionally, on June 10, 2024, the Government of Goa - Water Resources Department approved our application to drill and register a borewell at the factory premises, measuring 85 meters in depth with a yield of 10,000 liters of water per day.

We have also submitted the prescribed application to the Excise Inspector of Excise Station of Salcete Taluka for the Establishment License for the Brewery. Following the processing at the local excise station, we will make a non-refundable processing fee payment of Rs. 20 Lakhs, after which the file will be forwarded to higher authorities for further action. Upon payment, we will place the order for brewery equipment after technical consultations with vendors and approval from the Board of Directors.

Finally, upon obtaining the Establishment License, we will be eligible to apply for the Manufacturing License for Beer. With the completion of these steps, we anticipate that the brewery project will significantly enhance our production capacity and contribute positively to our revenue streams in the coming years. We are committed to advancing this project efficiently and are confident in the positive impact it will have on our company's growth and shareholder value.

Shares of Khoobsurat Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1.37. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3928957 in over 828 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1.43 and intraday low of 1.36. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5504718.00.
