Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd inks MoU with RRVPNL for JV

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has executed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RRVPNL) on 10th March, 2024 to incorporate a Joint Venture (JV) Company for development of Intra State Transmission System in the state of Rajasthan with an equity Participation of 74% by POWERGRID and 26% by RRVPNL. The proposed JV company shall undertake projects worth upto Rs. 10,000 crore in a phased manner.

Shares of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 292.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 294.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 647367 in over 10168 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 298.95 and intraday low of 291.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 189815901.00.
