Berger Paints India Ltd updates on incident at Howrah plant

On Behalf of Berger Paints, this is an official update on the medical situation of the employees who suffered injuries in the unfortunate incident at our Howrah Plant. Of the 23 employees who have been receiving medical attention, 17 are out of danger and most of them are expected to be released soon.

One of the contractual employees, who had suffered injuries and was in a critical condition, has unfortunately expired today. Other critical patients are being provided the best possible medical attention. The factory manager who is the head of our Howrah factory is recuperating well.

Shares of Berger Paints (I) Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 580.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 581.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 45693 in over 3448 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 586.10 and intraday low of 563.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 26506465.00.
