Sonata Software declared winner of the prestigious 'Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance' for 2021

Sonata Software, a global IT Services and Technology Solutions Company, announced that it has been declared winner of the prestigious 'Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance' for 2021, in a national category under IT Sector.

The award was received at a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in the presence of distinguished gathering of business leaders and participants from across the globe by the Institute of Directors (IOD), under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India and former Chairman, National Human Rights Commission of India and National Commission for Constitution of India Reforms.

This year, there were over 199 entrants for the above annual Golden Peacock Awards. Out of which, after careful scrutiny, 94 applications were shortlisted for final selection through a 3-tier assessment process. An Assessment Group comprising of Corporate Governance and Sustainability experts was then set up to assess the applications. Each application was reviewed by assessors independently and was later discussed by the committee for normalization of assessments / reviews.

Shares of Sonata Software Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 775.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 785.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14240 in over 919 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 789.90 and intraday low of 768.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 11116890.00.
