Pantaloon Retail allots 4040056 shares

Pantaloon Retail India Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors (CoD) of the Company at its meeting held on March 17, 2008, have made allotment of 40,40,056 Equity shares of Rs 2/- each at a premium of Rs 498/- per share to Erudite Trading Pvt Ltd, part of the promoter group, on conversion of first tranche of Warrants allotted to them.

The stock was trading at Rs.401.25, down by Rs.16.40 or 3.93%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.425 and low of Rs.401.25.

The total traded quantity was 12253 compared to 2 week average of 21182.
