Bank of India allots 37772600 shares at Rs 360

Bank of India has announced that the placement of equity shares under Chapter XIII-A of the SEBI Guidelines closed on February 06, 2008. The Bank has approved the issuance of 3,77,72,600 equity shares at a price of Rs 360/- per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each issued at a premium of Rs 350 per equity share aggregating to Rs 1359.81 crores.

SBI Capital Markets Ltd, A.K. Capital Services Ltd, Edelweiss Capital Ltd, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Pvt Ltd, JM Financial Consultants Pvt Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Pvt Ltd acted as Book Running Lead Managers to the Issue.

The stock closed the day at Rs.360.65, down by Rs.2.20 or 0.61%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.374.50 and low of Rs.358.

The total traded quantity was 308719 compared to 2 week average of 480145.
